Starter: National Sovereignty – each country has supreme, independent authority over itself and its peoples.
1.      What does this mean?
2.      Why do you think this is a founding principle of the United Nations?
3.      Under what circumstances, if any, should other governments violate the sovereignty?

    1. Minimum 4 annotations (questions, comments, reactions, etc.)
    2. On a separate page, give a complete and specific example (needs a specific time, place and action or event) that illustrates what they mean in each bullet point. 
  2. Seminar Pre-Write: 
    1. Is there value in creating an organization with such lofty and potentially unachievable goals?
    2. Does the principle of sovereign equality support or get in the way of the UN achieving its goals?
